Does your child have frequent outbursts or temper tantrums?
Does he/she become easily frustrated or irritated?
Does your child cry or yell often?
Has your child experienced behavioral and/or emotional problems at home or at school?
Has he/she gone through a major life change or scary event?
Does he/she appear shy or disinterested often?

We are here to help your children heal emotionally and help parents find solutions that work.

We specialize in helping children achieve their best selves through Play Therapy. We believe behavior tells us something, and we must listen! The basis of Play Therapy is to meet children where they are and to speak their language. Meeting a child in a world that is comfortable and familiar to them aids in strengthening rapport and gaining greater insight into their world. Ultimately, the therapeutic effects of having a space to process all that is presently occurring for them is invaluable. Through Play Therapy, children learn to communicate with others, express feelings, modify behavior, develop problem-solving skills, and learn a variety of ways of relating to others. We help families find solutions and create realistic plans to tend to their children’s behavioral and emotional needs as we incorporate parent sessions into our work with children.

Play Therapy is usually more suitable for children ages 4-10, but can be utilized with all ages.
