Manon is a licensed clinical social worker with 13 years of experience, specializing in DBT, and CBT. She has worked extensively in church counseling settings, crisis intervention, and medical environments.

Manon started her service work with LDS Family Services as a birth parent advocate. She then moved on to the Chattanooga Sexual Assault Treatment Center and worked as an advocate with victims of sexual assault. After she graduated from her master’s program, Manon worked with the Chattanooga Psychotherapy Association to advance professionalism and training within the counseling and therapy community. Manon has also volunteered with the Association for Mormon Counselors and Psychotherapists to support faith-based therapists in diverse settings.
Lately, Manon has volunteered with Family Connections, a program sponsored by the National Education Alliance for Borderline Personality Disorder. As a Family Connections trainer, Manon gave parents, spouses, and siblings tools to be proactive and supportive with a loved one with severe emotional dysregulation.
After raising her children, Manon started her second career in social work. She now has 13 years of experience in social work, with the last 11 years as a licensed clinical social worker. Manon utilizes Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness, Prolonged Exposure and Response Prevention, and Mindfulness for Anxiety Disorders in a person-centered and mindful approach. She works with teens 18 years and older, adults, individuals, and families. Her ongoing participation in DBT consultation demonstrates her commitment to excellence. She is prepared and equipped to provide excellent therapy services to the community.
Manon’s broad background gives her a depth of compassion and understanding for people, including those navigating challenges related to aging, menopause, chronic illness, and chronic pain.
Manon returned to school to attend the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, where she graduated with a Bachelor’s in Social Work in 2002. She went on to receive a Master of Science in Clinical Social Work degree from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville in 2007.
