Juliette’s journey into the mental health field began with a strong commitment to helping others. With experience as a preschool teacher and a master’s degree in hand, she found her passion in supporting children and teens. Juliette has specialized training in Child-Centered Play Therapy (CCPT) and is currently pursuing her Registered Play Therapist (RPT) certification. She is a strong believer that play is a child’s most authentic language and a natural way for them to communicate and heal. Juliette uses directive and non-directive play therapy approaches to helps kids express themselves in the best way they know how...through PLAY! Juliette also has training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) through Behavioral Teach. She finds meaning in helping young people through challenges like anxiety, low self-esteem, emotional regulation, stress, and life transitions.
For her own self-care, Juliette treasures spending time with her family and her two fur-babies, escaping into a good book, going to yoga classes, catching up on favorite shows, and taking relaxing walks. And you can almost always find her with a coffee in hand, ready to take on the day with warmth and enthusiasm!
